THE WIZARD OF OZ SCARECROW
e are pleased to present the "Scarecrow" - part of our exciting series of mice celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the classic 1939 motion picture The Wizard of Oz.
Brought to life for the first time in the form of a mouse, Oz's beloved Scarecrow is made of fine mohair plush with hand painted features, resin hands and feet, blue glass pupil eyes, inset whiskers, and a leather tail. Measuring just 3" tall (not including the hat), a built-in metal stand provides effortless display.
The Scarecrow comes authentically outfitted with a neck ruff of coarse 'burlap' fabric and a tunic tailored of custom-dyed cotton flannel. The costume features tears, straw and rope accents, and delicate airbrushed shading. Atop his head, a black felt hat with a matching rag hatband completes his trademark ensemble.
The Scarecrow mouse is produced at the R. John Wright Dolls studio workshop in Bennington, Vermont, in a limited edition of only 200 pieces worldwide. Each comes enclosed in a deluxe presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for registration. Matching edition numbers are provided to other characters in the collection subject to availability. The R. John Wright Wizard of Oz Mouse Series is officially licensed by Warner Brothers.
