The first event at the Everett Mansion will be "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The enchanting evening will feature a woodland fairy's feast followed by magical entertainment by the Children's Ballet Troupe of nearby Manchester, Vermont. Enjoy the musical performance of the little fairy dancers as they flit about like fireflies on the Everett Mansion stone terrace. The event souvenir will be 'Mustardseed'- a darling little ballet fairy from Shakespeare's immortal play. Special souvenir price to be announced.

The Everett Mansion Library will provide the setting for a Fairy Tale 'mouse' breakfast featuring "The Brave Little Tailor." Visit the charming medieval village where the little Mouse Tailor toils in his shop. A bountiful breakfast will be presented for your pleasure. Featured are charming one-of-a-kind centerpieces depicting, cottages, shops, a mill, and even a castle, all scaled for mouse inhabitants! One lucky person at each table will win the drawing to purchase these wonderful creations. The event souvenir will be "The Brave Little Tailor". Available for order will be the winsome "Princess" whose hand in marriage our Little Tailor longs for. Special prices for the event souvenir and companion to be announced.

Everyone is flocking to the Medieval Country Fair! All are invited to dress as their favorite Fairy Tale or Medieval character for this festive themed event held on the Everett Mansion grounds. Enjoy the sumptuous meal while you are entertained by Morris performers, musicians, and traditional Mummer sword dancers! There will be a masquerade procession before the King & Queen and their Court as they judge your finery and award prizes.

WORKSHOPS The Everett Mansion classrooms will be the perfect place for exclusive convention breakout Workshops featuring Fairy Houses, Fairy Gardens and Fairy Dolls! Talented instructors, Gail Wilson and Jackie Marro, will both conduct exciting classes as they steer you through the steps of making Wonderful Things. Extra fees are required.

In the Everett Mansion Theatre, there will be a special showing of the legendary silent film of Sir James M. Barrie's classic "Peter Pan." This first film adaptation of Peter Pan was released in 1924 and included ground-breaking special effects. Barrie himself oversaw production and chose the young actress who played the lead. For decades the film was believed lost until a single remaining copy was discovered in the 1950s. Now, almost 100 years after its first release, Peter Pan still retains all of its charm and magic.

Join the Darling children "In the Nursery" while they slumber and Peter Pan steals among them in search of his shadow. An English buffet will be offered for your enjoyment as you await the appearance of Peter. John & Susan will be unveiling the first doll in the "Peter Pan" collection: a fully articulated felt rendition of the boy who wouldn't grow up. The children's faithful canine nursemaid, "Nana", will be the evening's adorable event souvenir. Special souvenir price to be announced.

After your complimentary breakfast at the Hampton Inn enjoy shuttle bus tours to some of the sites of Bennington including Bennington Potters. You are also welcome to attend a workshop, or view the special exhibit and salesroom at the Everett Mansion. Destinations and shuttle times will be posted.

Join Puss in the throne room as he slyly deceives the King to win the hand of the Princess for his master. Custom favors, centerpieces and a tantalizing luncheon will be presented along with an interactive "Tall Tales" game. The souvenir will be the most famous of all fairy tale cats: Puss In Boots! This exciting new feline from the RJW Studio sports a gallant chapeau with a dashing feather and a large handsome pair of leather boots. Note: pre-orders for this piece will receive a special introductory price.

The fairest of them all, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the first feature-length animated film and Walt Disney's masterpiece. Based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, the magnificent animation is matched by the classic score which includes several unforgettable songs. Since its release in 1937, it has brought untold joy and wonder to generations of children and the young-at-heart.

"Happily Ever After", the elegant final banquet on Saturday evening, will provide the perfect finishing touch to the convention. Inside the dining hall, themed favors and centerpieces will cast their spell and our festive farewell dinner will feature an elegantly plated meal fit for a King (or Queen!). Complimentary wine and beverages will also be served. Then, the moment everyone has been waiting for! Due to popular demand, R. John Wright will be introducing a series of delightful cabinet-size child dolls costumed as some of your favorite fairy tale characters! The first doll in the series will be presented to each fully-registered guest.
